About Kinley:
March 30, 1895, Adam Kinley started Kinley and Sons, a family-owned and operated tannery and timber harvesting business in Western New York. The timber business is still in operation today.
Over time, Kinley Oil Company took a natural turn to industrial construction and Kinley Corporation was formed in 1964 in Western New York state to serve the commercial construction business.
Formally known as Kinley Construction Group (KCG), KCG became a nationally recognized and respected general contractor serving the industrial and mechanical fueling industries in the aviation, railroad, energy, and government industries. Kinley Corporation in Western New York continued to build and grow its commercial construction business.
In 2015, JL Kinley sold controlling interest in KCG but remained on as a Board Member and advisor. Now, in 2021, JL’s children, Jimmy and Katherine joined together to bring the business home to the Family.
